Q13 Fox Family Fund
The Q13 Fox Family Fund helps to increase support of local charitable causes. We want to create more opportunity for children, youth and families in our community. Donations help improve the lives of children and strengthen families here in western Washington.
Since the funds inception in 1999, grants have been awarded totaling more than $3 million. In selecting our grant recipients, we look for the most innovative and effective local agencies helping families. Your donations, plus the foundation match allow excellent programs in education, health care and mentoring to thrive and grow.
"We put a lot of thought and effort into our community involvement," said Pam Pearson, Q13 FOX/Seattle's WB vice president and general manager. "We're very proud to partner with The McCormick Foundation to support the outstanding work of some of the area's leading educational and social service agencies."
Each holiday season, Q13 FOX launches a special fundraising effort called the Children's Holiday Campaign to benefit Q13 Fox Family Fund. The McCormick Foundation contributes another $.50 for every dollar raised up to the campaign limit of $50,000. All donations, plus the matching funds, are granted to nonprofit agencies that provide food, gifts, and support services to low-income families throughout the year.
